Winds Indicator and Breaking the Wall
The attached PDF contains four diagrams—one for each wind of the round. The wind of the round begins with East and then progresses through South, West, and North.
For each round, point the East marker on the diagram toward the player who is currently East. The diagram will then show the correct wind for each of the other players.
Once all players have built their walls, East rolls the dice. The player whose number on the outside of the diagram matches the total on the dice is the one who will break the wall.
That player counts along their wall from the right-hand side, up to the number shown on the dice. The two tiles at that point are lifted and placed on top of the remaining wall on the right—this becomes the Flower Wall. The section of wall to the left of the break becomes the Dealing Wall.
The player breaking the wall then takes the first four tiles from the Dealing Wall (to the left of the break) and gives them to East. They continue dealing four tiles to each player in an anticlockwise direction. If the Dealing Wall runs out, continue dealing from the next wall to the left. Repeat this process three times so that each player receives 12 tiles.
Finally, East receives tiles 1 and 3 from the top of the Dealing Wall, giving East a total of 14 tiles. Each of the other players receives one additional tile from the Dealing Wall, bringing them to 13 tiles.
